Terms of Trade

These Terms and Conditions vary depending on whether training is purchased for publicly scheduled courses open to personnel from a variety of organisations (Open Courses), or those that are exclusive to one company (In-Company Courses). Payment terms differ too, depending on whether prepaid Vouchers are purchased, or standard payment terms are employed.

In-Company Booking

• You will be invoiced upon receipt of an In-Company Course Registration.
• You will be invoiced separately for all related expenses eg: Courseware, Trainer's Costs (including travel, mileage and accommodation), Courier Costs and Psychometric Tools (eg DiSC).
• A deposit of 20% of the course fee is payable immediately upon booking.
• The remainder of the invoice is payable 28 days before the course.
• All changes (transfers and cancellations) must be requested in writing.
• Course dates changes will be accepted up to 28 days before a course free of charge.
• Course date changes within 14 days before the course will be accepted but will incur a admin/transfer fee of 25% of the course cost.
• Subject to the 14-day provisions mentioned above, course date changes made within 28 days before the course will be accepted but will incur a fee of 10% of the course cost.
• Cancellations will be accepted up to 28 days before the course, but will incur a cancellation fee of 10% of the course cost.
• Cancellations made within 14 days prior to the course will not be refunded and any outstanding fee will remain payable.
• Vouchers may be used to pay for the research and delivery phases of any training, in which case no invoice will be raised, but all terms and conditions outlined here apply to the costs outlined on the In-Company Course Registration form.
• Late attendance to an Open Course may interfere with professional delivery of a training course and thus impact negatively on other participants.
• Any person that Ron Pollak Training considers is inhibiting the running of a course will be asked to leave, for the protection of the training event for other participants. In this case the course fee is forfeited.

Open Course Booking

• You will be invoiced upon receipt of an Open Course Registration, the invoice is payable within 7 days.
• Our Terms & Conditions relating to Transfers & Cancellations are stringent to ensure that we run courses profitably and with a sufficient number of participants to provide for interaction and discussion. It also means that we are able to ensure that the best trainers possible are available to our clients.
• Transfers and Cancellations will be accepted up to 28 days before a course free of charge.
• Transfers and Cancellations between 14 and 28 days before the course will be accepted but will incur a transfer fee of 20% of the course cost.
• Transfers made within 14 days prior to the course will not be accepted; however substitutions can be made any time up to course commencement.
• Cancellations made within 14 days prior to the course will not be refunded.
• A booking that has been transferred may not be cancelled.
• Participants may re-attend any course for 25% of the course fee (while still in the employ of the booking organisation).
• Vouchers may be used to pay courses, in which case no invoice will be raised, but all terms and conditions outlined here apply.
• Late attendance to a course may interfere with professional delivery of a training course and thus impact negatively on other participants.
• Any person that Ron Pollak Training considers is inhibiting the running of a course will be asked to leave, for the protection of the training event for other participants. In this case the course fee is forfeited.

Vouchers

• Vouchers represent one day of training for one person on Ron Pollak Training open courses.
• Vouchers provide the voucher holder with special pricing relative to the size of the order placed.
• Vouchers are an advanced purchase offering, providing significant savings in excess of twenty percent of standard costing. Payment is required strictly within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
• Vouchers not paid within 7 days will revert to standard costing.
• Vouchers are valid for twelve months from their date of purchase, regardless of any price rise(s) that might occur during the period.
• Ron Pollak Training will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the voucher holder is informed of voucher usage and will notify the voucher holder if there is a possibility that vouchers may run over the twelve-month period.
• All terms and conditions relating to Ron Pollak Training courses also apply to bookings made using vouchers.
• Vouchers will not be refunded nor can they be credited against any other purchases once bookings have been made.
• Vouchers must be paid in advance of any booking made.
• Ron Pollak Training will run courses on its published schedule of courses as frequently as market needs demand.
• Participants booked using vouchers may be substituted up to the day of the course by persons who conform to course prerequisites.
• While special offers may be made from time-to-time to voucher holders, the absence of offers does not reduce their value to the holder.

Intellectual Property & Restraint

• In engaging Ron Pollak Training the Purchaser and any associated entity, recognises the intellectual property in courseware as belonging to Ron Pollak Training.
• The details of consultants, including trainers and sales staff, who are introduced by Ron Pollak Training, must be held confidential for a period of three years after the end of any completed assignment.
• The Purchaser cannot engage the services of Ron Pollak Training consultants, trainers, administration and sales staff, without the express permission of Ron Pollak Training and without paying Ron Pollak Training a fee commensurate with a recruitment fee for the full-time employment of consultants, trainers, administration and sales staff, as quoted as the standard fee from a major recruitment organisation.
